Honey is a sweet, thick, syrupy, aromatic substance produced by bees from the processing of intra- and extra- floral nectar or other sweet juices of plants. These juices enriched with bee secretions from their own body and transferred to the wax cells of the comb, where they are processed and sealed as stock food.
Royal jelly is a complex biological product secreted by the swallow and supramaxillar glands of young bees aged 5 to 15 days. With it, they feed the queen bee and young larvae. Fed with royal jelly, the queen bee is able to lay daily 1500 - 3000 eggs, which is equivalent to her own weight . The intensive exchange of queen bee ,her high fecundity and her long life ( she lives 5-6 years , unlike the worker bees who live 30-40 days ) is due exclusively to feeding her with royal jelly.
Bee Pollen (flower powder) is the dust found on the plant stamen, gathered and сarried to the beehive by the bees. Pollen is a miхture of albumins, fats, mineral substanсes, сarbohydrates, amino-aсids, ferments, etheriс oils and vitamins: aneurin, riboflavin, niсotiniс aсid, pyridoхine, pantotheniс aсid, foliс aсid, biotin, toсopherols, asсorbiс aсid, сalсiferol, сarotene and rutin.
Propolis is a mixture of resins, waxes and pollen from flowers and buds of plants supplemented with enzymes, and subjected to lactic acid fermentation in the digestive system of the bees. Propolis contains vitamins, essential oils, mineral salts, trace elements, hormones, and enzymes. Bees mostly prepare the propolis from protective substances separated by some plants bark and buds (e.g., poplar). These are different types of rubbers, waxes and resins. They cultivate it through their jaws knead and mix it with saliva, transport it to the hive and there they polish every surface, thereby protecting it from microorganisms. Moreover, they treated with propolis and inner surfaces of honeycombs. With propolis bees rub their body, thereby using its protective action.
Beeswax is a natural wax produced in the bee hive of honey bees. It is composed mainly by esters of fatty acids and various long chain alcohols. The wax is formed by worker bees, which secrete it from eight wax-producing mirror glands located on the abdominal segments. The size of these wax glands depend on the age of the worker bee, as daily flights lead to atrophy of these glands. The new wax scales are initially glass-clear and colourless ,becoming opaque after mastication by the worker bee. The wax of honeycomb is nearly white, but becomes progressively more yellow or brown by incorporation of pollen oils and propolis. Honey bees use the beeswax to build honeycomb cells in which their young are raised with honey and pollen cells being capped for storage. For the wax-making bees to secrete wax, the ambient temperature in the hive has to be 33 to 36 °C. To produce their wax, bees must consume about eight times as much honey by mass.
Honey honeycombs of bees are the natural state of honey as bees gather and store, as winter supply of food. The valuable properties of honey are preserved best in the comb. In the honeycomb has small amounts of bee pollen and propolis. The chewing of the honeycomb separates more saliva and gastric juices, that activate motor function of the stomach. It has strong antiphlogistic and reinforcing effect and the body.
Our factory is certified by HACCP system for production and processing of honey and bee products. There we also package royal jelly, process propolis powder, propolis tincture, dry and package bee pollen in standard and individual packages on request of our customers. We have our own certified warehouse for storing bee products, as part of our company bases
